Time to [re]think...in Hawaii!
This week is the first annual [re]think conference with Geeks On A Plane held at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort in Hawaii!
The conference has just begun and the schedule is filled with opportunities to connect, [re]think, and enjoy. The first day of sessions kicked off with talks including Startup Metrics for Pirates with Dave McClure of Founders Fund, followed by Design 101 For Startups with Jason Putorti, Lead Designer at Mint.com.
Here are the panelists from the East Meets West Asian Tech Talk (from left to right) Paul Papadimitriou, Joyce Kim, Eric Nakagawa, Dave McClure, Kaiser Kuo, and (missing taking pics himself) Elliott Ng:
During Fast Pitch, Skimble's Maria Ly presents and receives valuable feedback from the panel:
Special thanks goes out to Christine Lu, Chris Noble, and Dave for all their efforts in organizing the conference. Here they welcome us during the first night's dinner cruise:
And, yep, we can now confidently say "I'm on a boat" and [re]thinking!
Maria is currently in Hawaii to join in on some sessions, evening banter, and impromptu arm wrestles...all while actively exploring the gorgeous island of Oahu - more on that soon including her take on the island's hiking, climbing, and surfing/swimming options!
It's without a doubt [re]thinking can be done during an evening stroll along the beach:
Aloha!

If you're not here in Waikiki enjoying the [re]think conference, [re]think vicariously through the tweets with hastags: #rethink and #goap
