TBS5 Bouldering Competitions: a great way to rock out
by Skimble
Hey Cali rock climbers. This one's for you! As you may know, the Touchstone Climbing bouldering series, TBS5, is well underway. These competitions run at all the Touchstone Climbing gyms in the northern California region. They are a great way to work on some personal bests, check out new gyms, and meet other climbing enthusiasts. These competitions are friendly and fun, giving you the option to participate in the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced levels. They are free for members and $10 for non-members, which includes a competition T-shirt and chances to win climbing prizes. The most recent boulder competition was held last week at Sacramento Pipeworks. Congrats to all those who participated including several notable Skimblers! Maria Ly - 1st overall @ Pipeworks

Complete TBS5 bouldering results on the Touchstone Climbing competition site. There's one more bouldering competition left in the TBS5 series held on Friday, November 13th at Berkely Ironworks. Be sure to join the trip and track your climbing ticks. Now, if you have no idea about what we're talking about but perhaps a little curious about what all this climbing talk's about, why not visit a local climbing gym? Climbing is a great way to get active and have fun! Check out Mahalo's rock climbing page for more info and perhaps head over to REI and gear up. Believe us, it's worth it. Good luck & climb on!
