Now if you’ve been following some of the news in the mobile health & fitness space, you may have heard about the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 announcements at the Mobile World Congress. This year Samsung is making a big push in Fitness. Naturally, Skimble partnered with Samsung to provide users with the best workout coaching experience in the world. We are pleased to announce that Skimble’s Workout Trainer is one of the first fitness apps and only workout app currently integrated with Samsung’s S Health™ platform, seamlessly integrated with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 launch (the one that’s IP67 dust and water resistant with a built-in heart rate sensor!), expected in stores April, 2014.

Skimble’s partnership with Samsung helps both current and new users achieve their fitness goals with ease. First, Skimble is completely compatible with Samsung’s S Health™ platform. Users can choose to share data from workouts they complete in Workout Trainer, such as exercise duration and calories burned. This information is automatically synced with one’s S Health™ profile.

Secondly, for new users who download Workout Trainer for the first time via Samsung Apps on their new Galaxy S5, we are excited to provide them with 6 months free Pro+ premium membership experience (valued at over $40 USD). This Pro+ membership unlocks additional features including HD exercise videos, premium audio coaching assistance, an all access pass to custom training programs, and Pro-only community forums led by certified personal trainers.

  1. Tried the ap, like hte workouts, but did not get the 6 motn pro on my s5 nor did it sync to s health. It said it was sending data to s health after hte workout but it does not show in s health.

      • I contacted support and got a reply saying to update and then log in with my samsung account from the phone. I tried but it said my gmail address was already in use. The lack of sync with s health was not addressed. The icon shows in s health but workout data, calories burned etc does not sync up.

  2. Hi,

Same happens to me. I seem to be well logged in with the Samsung account but skimble doesn’t sync the exercises to s health although it says it is syncing.

    Is this a known issue?

    • Hi Jazzy, yes we are aware of this issue and we’re working on a fix for it. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

  3. hi I want to unsubscribe from skimble having trouble doing so can someone please help me?

  4. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that
“perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal.
I must say that you’ve done a awesome job with this.

Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome.
    Exceptional Blog!

  5. Good afternoon. I am running S Health Version 2.5.5.051 on my Galaxy S3. Is Workout Trainer compatible with my S3?

  6. my workout trainer does not count my calories burned nor does it link my calories burned to S Health. What can I do to get these two to work together? They are sync together just the calories burned are my problem. Please help.

  7. Has the issue of Skimble exercises not syncing to S health been addressed yet? I have auto sync turned on, and the skimble icon is listed on my s health homepage, but none of the info is syncing at all. I’ve tried backing up and restoring s health twice with no change.

    • Hi D, we are still awaiting Samsung’s update so unfortunately we’re still in a holding pattern. We’ll let y’all know when it gets released!

  8. Hi,

I installed the app and joined using my samsung account but I didn’t get my 6 months pro subscription?
How can I fix this? I’m using a new galaxy S5.

    Regards.
    Jeroen
