Skimble’s Android Watch Experience for Workout Trainer

Great news for all you tech savvy gadget-lovers who also love to work out! Workout Trainer now works on Android smartwatches. Our latest Android app update on Google Play Store and Galaxy Apps Store offers compatibility with countless Android watches including any watch running Android Wear, and those on the Samsung platform including the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch Active3, Active2, etc.

This means that you can play thousands of workouts and see timing cues with your Android Watch of choice — synchronized with your connected phone or tablet.

Skimble’s Workout Trainer watch app is a companion app, so make sure you download and pair Workout Trainer on your mobile device or tablet before you start. This companion app allows you to play all of Skimble’s workouts and programs at your fingertips! Just find a workout on your connected device, tap ‘Do Workout’ and you’ll see the workout play in-sync on your Android watch. The display on your Android watch will show useful prompts during your workouts, like the current exercise name, timing and repetition cues at-a-glance, and handy ‘Next Up’ exercise tips.Swipe right and you’ll see a description of the current exercise you’re doing. The simple green progress dial around the outside edge of the display will help you stay on track, no matter which screen you’re on.

Swipe left to reach the control view. This screen allows you to play/pause your workout, as well as skip to the next exercise (great for rep-based exercises) or go back to the previous one. Once you’ve completed a workout, you’ll also get a brief summary of how you did. The ability to simply control workouts from your Android watch makes for a super-nifty and cutting edge training experience.
