Advanced Program Creation

During program creation you can easily swap, re-add, and delete workouts that have been added to your program. Simply tap on the day of the week you want to change and the existing workout will show up with quick editing options below.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Advanced Program CreationChanged your mind about a workout you slotted in at the start of the program? No problem, swap it out for another more appropriate workout whenever you want. You can also re-add the same workout on different days, saving you time by not having to search through our database with thousands of workouts. Simply tap on the workout you want to reuse in the calendar and select a day to re-add that same workout. You can easily adjust the schedule of any workout by tapping the green bar at the bottom of the screen ‘Scheduled for Day X’. Once you’ve selected the day you want, save your changes by tapping the ‘+’ symbol to the bottom right.

Advanced Enrollment Customization

Once custom training programs have been shared with clients, they can select their preferred start date on the calendar. At the same time, they can uncheck any of the days of the week when they cannot work out. The program will automatically take this into account and customize the schedule to fit their needs.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Advanced Program CreationDon’t forget to set your preferred workout time! You can always adjust this later on by going to the ‘Enrolled Program’ screen and tapping the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right. Here you can change your preferred workout time and set workout notifications. Once you’ve got everything set up, you can share your program/progress via Facebook, Twitter, Email and Text Message. Let your friends know what you’re working towards. It’s a great way to inspire them to join you on your fitness journey or start their own!

If something comes up or you fall behind — because let’s face it, sometimes life gets in the way of things — don’t fret; just reschedule! You can reschedule your upcoming workouts or all the workouts left in your program at once. Tell us a bit about your background and where you’re from?

Melissa: Hey, I’m Melissa from St. Louis! I’m a wife, mother to 4 hilarious kids and have been an online personal trainer since 2012. 

What inspired you to become a personal trainer?

Melissa: Fitness has been a lifelong journey for me. It started with my love for sports and exercise. Yes, I’ll admit it, I do love to exercise. Particularly running, which led to a passion for making a difference and helping others with their own health.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Trainer Spotlight: Melissa MoranWhat made you decide to certify with NASM?

Melissa: I like their training model and their reputation was the best! Not only am I a Certified Personal Trainer, but I also hold Weight Loss and Fitness Nutrition specializations through NASM.

What are your training specialties?

Melissa: You could say overall Total Body Conditioning. I enjoy challenging clients with full body, high power, high intensity, ever-changing workouts while keeping things fun, exciting and motivating.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Trainer Spotlight: Melissa MoranHow do you use Workout Trainer as a part of your personal life and/or coaching business?

Melissa: For me, I love to try other trainer’s programs to mix up my own daily fitness routine. With my business, most of my clients are busy moms so if we can’t connect online, then they know they can get on my profile to find a quick, effective workout.

What’s your favorite feature in the app?

Melissa: My favorite feature is the community. It’s very motivating! I love seeing all of the activity from workout updates. You don’t feel alone in your fitness journey with this app 🙂

What keeps you motivated to stay fit yourself? As a mom of 4, it must be quite the challenge!

Melissa: My family is my WHY! I feel good when I exercise and I need all the energy I can get to keep up with 4 kids. I also want to be a great role model and lead by example.
