Whatever your health and fitness goals may be, making a solid plan to reach those goals is the first important step in achieving them. With an increasing number of Trainers and community members using multi-week training programs to schedule their at-home workout routine, we wanted to highlight some exciting new program features in our latest Workout Trainer app update.
Community Created Programs
All Skimble members can now discover more programs to do in the new Community Created programs section. Simply head over to the ‘Programs’ tab at the bottom of your screen, then select ‘Community Created’ from the menu options and browse hundreds of community-created programs shared by Trainers and fellow Skimblers.
Multiple Workouts in One Day
When creating your own custom training programs, PRO+ members can now add more than one workout on a single day in any program. Select a day in your calendar to add a new workout; it doesn’t matter if you already have a workout scheduled on that same day. Simply tap ‘Add a Workout’ to add multiple workouts to any given day in your program. You can move, copy, and delete training days from here – including days with multiple scheduled workouts. By tapping the ‘…’ icon next to each workout, you can also move the individual workout to another day or remove it entirely. Upload Program Cover Images
Last but not least, PRO+ members can now upload their own cover images to programs they’ve created in the past or are planning to create in the future. Select the program you want to tweak and tap the ‘…’ icon in the top right corner to edit the program. Next, tap the image icon at the top of the screen to choose a cover image from the library on your device. Pro Tip: Select an appealing image that reflects the goal/target of your program so that community members or potential clients are drawn in when they are searching for new programs. Add your program title directly onto your image before uploading with built-in editing tools on your phone or some of these great, free apps.
