Meet Farrice Cain, Skimble‘s featured Trainer! With over 10 years of experience in the fitness space, this guy means business. We recently had the chance to chat with Farrice and learn more about his passion for helping others discover their self-worth and happiness.

Tell us a bit about your background and where you’re from.

Farrice: I’m originally from Chicago and just recently moved to Los Angeles. I’ve been a Health and Fitness Professional for over 10 years now and hold multiple highly recognized specializations.

What inspired you to become a personal trainer?

Farrice: I was bullied throughout high school and needed an outlet to deal with it. I figured out that if I worked on myself and worried about my own health and happiness first, life would follow suit. Now, I just want to help and give back to others so they can find their happiness too.

Farrice: I ‘m certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Exercise Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. I pride myself on designing and creating well-rounded programs that effectively help people achieve their health and fitness goals.

Why did you decide to certify with NASM?

Farrice: I got certified with NASM because they are one of the most recognized bodies in the Health and Fitness Industry. They hold a high standard that needs to be met to become a NASM trainer.

Farrice: I first heard about Workout Trainer through the App Store on my phone. I was looking for something I could use, or my clients could use to have access to workouts (and to my guidance) on the go.

What’s your favorite feature in the app?

Farrice: My favorite feature in the app is the exercise library. There are endless amounts of great movements for clients and members to practice. Plus, trainers can create programs with ease as well.

Advanced Program Creation

During program creation you can easily swap, re-add, and delete workouts that have been added to your program. Simply tap on the day of the week you want to change and the existing workout will show up with quick editing options below.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Advanced Program CreationChanged your mind about a workout you slotted in at the start of the program? No problem, swap it out for another more appropriate workout whenever you want. You can also re-add the same workout on different days, saving you time by not having to search through our database with thousands of workouts. Simply tap on the workout you want to reuse in the calendar and select a day to re-add that same workout. You can easily adjust the schedule of any workout by tapping the green bar at the bottom of the screen ‘Scheduled for Day X’. Once you’ve selected the day you want, save your changes by tapping the ‘+’ symbol to the bottom right.

Advanced Enrollment Customization

Once custom training programs have been shared with clients, they can select their preferred start date on the calendar. At the same time, they can uncheck any of the days of the week when they cannot work out. The program will automatically take this into account and customize the schedule to fit their needs.Workout Trainer by Skimble: Advanced Program CreationDon’t forget to set your preferred workout time! You can always adjust this later on by going to the ‘Enrolled Program’ screen and tapping the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right.
